<text>9/11: How will you remember the September 11 attacks?

I asked my mom how she feels every year on the 9/11 anniversary. She used bold words like sick, sad, and mad. I asked why she was mad and she said she thinks about how the families of those 3000 murdered people must feel every year re-watching the towers fall on the news. She told me she was cleaning my sister’s room the morning while watching television when a breaking news alert showed the twin towers being struck by commercial airliners. She then woke my dad up out of bed and told him that something horrible has happened and that America was under attack. That is what she told me she thinks of about that tragic day and that it is forever instilled into her head.
