<text>9/11 is forever now a part of our everyday life & soul. When I hear those numbers, they mean the day our country's heart was broken. I've not changed as the terrorists intended, becoming a hateful, fearful person. I've grown to love my country even more & all that she stands for. I'm not as naive as I once was, and no longer accept that those who would do such serious harm can be reasoned with as civilised people. I don't trust as much as I did but I also love more those who truly stand for good positive values in life. </text>

<text>As I write this, the 11th anniversary will be coming up in a couple of months. I spent that day alone, watching some memorial on TV. I wasn't able to do that until about 4 yrs. ago as it was too painful. I cried & sat in inspired awe as I listened to reports of stories I'd not heard, about the bravery & commitment of so many people to help each other. God bless the USA & those who live as she does. Imperfect though we may be in many ways,we've been a great nation & I thank God to be here! </text>
