How has your life changed because of what happened on September 11, 2001?

Since Sept. 11, 2001, my life has changed. Since I was so young when the events unfolded, I quickly learned the United States is not invincible. We are not loved by everyone in the world, and we are not the strongest nation out there, but we have the greatest military in the world, and the most dedicated servicemen.

How will you remember the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks?

I will remember the attacks for what it was: a tragedy that took the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent people. It was a terrible day that fortunately united people to become one identity. It has always been a sensitive topic for me, as I'm sure it's been for other people. The firefighters, emergency response members, citizens and volunteers of the attacks will forever be heroes and should be treated as nothing less.
