911DA Story: Story

My story is not an exciting one, compared to others. I was at work on that day working on a sales tax project when the guys from the shop came into the office and told us to come into the GM's office and look at the tv. At first, I thought it was a much smaller plane involved and that someone may have had too much alcohol and ran into the building. I felt panic and rage all at once when I realized what I was looking at. Everyone was so quiet, as we watched with wide-eyes and open mouths. Eventually, still in shock, we all went back to our jobs, more as a therapy than anything I think. Desperately trying to grasp reality after seeing something so unreal. Then that afternoon, there was the gasoline price gauging. Gas prices soared to over $5.00 per gallon at some places! Fortunately, I had filled my tank that morning so I was ok. The bastards that did the price gauging got in big-time trouble.
