Description
As part of his sound installation Buildings [New York], artist Francisco López recorded ambient nighttime noise in the World Trade Center as well as in other large buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn between January and March 2001. The piece, commissioned by Creative Time, was exhibited in the Brooklyn Bridge Anchorage between May and July that year. This has been released on CD by V2, a record label from The Netherlands. What you hear here are excerpted from the hour long CD release.
