Tell us your story: Im sitting here staring out my window and thinking of this day 3 years ago.....3 years ago on this date and i can still tell you what i was doing down to the last detail..... It was my Senior year in High School... It started out like any other morning...My mom and sister were sick that day so instead of going to school i stayed home that day to take care of them ( ironicly if i had gone to school i was going to wear and american flag tank top) so when i stayed home i put on my ARMY sweats and turned on tv and was watching Muarry(TV Talk show) When my phone rang it was my Brother in law he was calling to tell me to put it on CNN that a plane hit the World Trade Center not think his joke was funny i yelled and hung up he called back insisting so i changed the channel and was watch just as the 2nd plane hit i hung up not realizing and stared in asonishment at the tv... i was scared for the people there thier familes and the world i sat watching as another plane hit the pentagon and the 1st tower of the world trade center crumbled to the ground crying being alone cause my mom and sister were sleeping and not know what to think or say to them when they awoke i heard my mom calling and she asked what sick movie i was watch about the world trade center getting blown up i cried and said it wasnt a movie we were attacked and she got out of bed and joined me at the tv as the 2nd tower fell then hearing of a plane being gunned down and another crashing in a penn... field i was scared and had no idea what to think or do I was frech from army basic training and was scared id have to go fight in war its somthing i will never forget because i could walk out my house and smell the smoke drifting down the shore line from what used to be the World Trade Center...There are other things i have seen up close and personal but for me bring back to many horrible memories to even speak of It was a day and even month ill never forget cause the folowing days my unit for the arym was activated and sent away for a year they have since come back but are now again being activated and sent to iraq to fight in this war on terrorism so thing like this dont happen again...... To the families and fellow Americans who have lost loved ones i send my love and best wishes that now in this time of griefing and rememberance you keep your faith and home that justic will come upon those who do such devious acts And to those now who are fighting for freedom in Iraq and those who have lost thier lives fighting for freedom in Iraq I Slaute you For you and then men and women who have died now and in the past and who will die in the future , whether it be police firefighters or our military, you are our heros you are the reason we remain a free country and you are the role models the youth of today need....
