Tell us your story: Last year on, 11 September 01 was my day off, I woke up at 8:40 am, turned the television on, so I could watch the news,while I drank my morning coffee. When I saw the first plane hit the WTC, I thought it was an accident, when the second plane hit - I was scared wondering what was going to happen next. When I heard about the other two planes, All I could do was cry. When I seen people running from the WTC, scared, but yet helping others whom were hurt or upset. Those acts alone, made me proud to be an American. firemen and policemen running to the WTC, just doing their job, not even thinking about their own personal safety. After hering about what the people did on Flight 93, to prevent more harm and deaths,I knew then I live in a country, where people love and care for each other. My boyfriend and I feel that the memorial at WTC should be called Inocence Plaza. I would like to see the leaders of world work together,so that more inocent people will not be harmed or killed.
