Disbelief, denial, a feeling of not knowing what to do. I just kept shooting. Another photographer yelled to me, "Are you getting this? Docoment everything!" I was not even aware in those moments that a mass murder had taken place. I shot this photo on Greenwich St. The woman crossing the street seems unaffected by the apparent chaos surrounding her. The shaft of light coming through the buildings seems to be shining only on her. I hope she is okay.
