When we saw the ash approaching, someone said to stay calm, keep walking, keep our heads down. I am so grateful to that person and his soothing words. We did not know what we were breathing or what the next minute would hold, we were anxious to get off the bridge as soon as possible and were desperately holding and dialing our cell phones.
