Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was watching the news and getting ready for my husband's grandmother's funeral. It was a sad day to bury someone we had loved and had in our lives for such a very long time. I heard on the morning news that a plane had hit the World Trade Center and I immediately yelled downstairs for my husband to turn on the news - this must be a terrible accident! Then my 10 year old son and I watched a second plane hit and we thought we were looking at a replay of the first plane. It took several minutes for us to determine what was really happening. We had to leave for the funeral and while we in the car listening to the radio - we heard the tower had fallen and then the Pentagon had been hit. It felt like the end of the world. Maybe it was okay that our grandmother did not have to live to see this tragic and terrible day in our country.
