I have mixed feelings about that.  The Madison school board's decision re: the Pledge has stirred up the viper's nest of right-wingnuts.  Madison is getting a *lot* of very bad national press.  Although of course I won't simply bend over for the loons, I think we have to consider the uneven impact such a resolution would have in that context. Basically, it seems like a potentially very divisive tactic.  We don't have the support yet to afford such confrontations, I think.
