I, like so many other people were sitting down to a cup of coffee, my youngest son was off to school and I was watching Good Morning America. When the shot came on the TV I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I sat there and cried when I saw those people trying to get out and the more that happened the more frightened I became, you see my oldest son was in Harrisburg, PA signing up for the Marines at the exact time the planes hit the World Trade Center. He stood there watching it on TV and still signed on the dotted line. Both of my son's are wonderful young men, they have been involved in scouting since they were in first grade, and my oldest is an Eagle Scout, My youngest one soon will be. So, I guess I'm a very proud Mother, not only has my son done what only 1% of scouts accomplish by becoming a Eagle scout, he is now becoming a Marine. Even though I am scared for him and the thousands like him in the armed forced. I am proud of the men and women who give of their time in the armed service, police and fire depatrments. Thank you to you all.
