I am soo sure this is my boyfriend to the left of the picture during 9/11. He is a firefighter from Engine 48 Ladder 56 in the Bronx. My heart was with him and all the others, everyday that they had to be away from home looking for their brothers and civilians. I was very grateful to be able to hear his voice daily. I tried to understand the emotions that he would come home with everyday, I can only re-live his moments through the long talkes we had when he came home. I could feel the pain and sorrow that flowed from the tears in his eyes. My heart would ache for him. I was one of the lucky ones who could finally embrace thier loved ones after not returning home from a routine work shift. I held on to him for what seemed to be eternity and did want want to let him go. Knowing he would only have to return to Ground Zero in six hours. I am so proud of him and what he did each and everyday through this terror. He was always my hero and now he is my inspiration. I will always remember the unbelievable closeness I felt with the man who means more than life to me. I love you C.R.M and always will.
