I was getting ready for school as the phone rang and my dad rushed to the tv. We had just recieved a call from a family friend saying, " The world as we know it had changed." i didn't realize what had happened until later that day but still then i wasn't totally sure why people would do this. At school we held various discussions about what had happened and just tried to comfort one another. We spent alot of time talking with family. How could someone take those many innocent peoples lives. September 11th has helped alot of us become closer as a country but let us not forget what our flag stands for and now more than ever our freedom.
