911DA Story: Story
I worked for 16 yrs.in the Wall Street Area on Broad Street.
Became downsized on July 20,2001. I was at home having breakfast with my wife ,Carol, when the phone rang and our daughter Michele was on the line. She asked if we were watching TV. My wife said no and wanted to know the reason. Michele informed us that a plane hit the World Trade Center. I turned on the television and saw a news flash that said "The World Trade Center was hit by a plane". We saw the plane hit the tower and thought it was a replay but,it was not the second tower got struck.We yelled out loud God Save the people. We could not believe what happened and wondered who could have done this to us. I feel very lucky because the train they found empty underneath the Twin Towers was the train I always used to ride to get to work. As My sister said "Mom always told us that things happen for a reason" and I believe our mother was right. I guess it was not my time to leave this Earth.

We remember the lives lost and pray for their families.
