911DA Story: Story

I'M FROM A LITTLE TOWN IN CALIFORNIA AND ALTHOUGH I WAS SO FAR AWAY I FELT SO CLOSE. I REMEMBER FEELING STUNNED I SAT IN SHOCK AS I WATCHED THE REPLAY OF THE VIDEO, YOU KNOW THE ONE WHERE THE PLANE FLEW THROUGH THE BUILDING, DISGUSTED I SAT AND JUST WATCHED, I CRIED WHEN I HEARD THE COUNTLESS NUMBER OF BODIES MISSING, GONE, VANISHED IN THE RUBLE.

NOW ONE YEAR LATER THIS COUNTRY IS CLOSER THEN EVER BEFORE, I FEEL PROUD TO BE FREE IN THE PLACE I LOVE, BUT ALSO SICKENED BY THE THOUGHT OF ALL THE LIVES LOST TO PROTECT US, I FEEL ANGRY THAT ALL THESE CHILDREN HAVE TO GROW UP WITHOUT A PERENT OR IN SOME CASES BOTH PARENTS.
THIS DAY IS TRULY A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE, ALL THOSE LIVES LOST TO PROTECT US WILL LIVE ON FOREVER.
9/11 WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
