Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was on my way to work when I heard the news on the radio. I thought it was a joke because the particular radio station I was listening to is know for playing practical jokes. Once I got to work, I asked my co-workers if they had heard anything about a plan crash at the World Trade Center. They too thought it was a joke until we turned on the television and saw the image of the first plane hitting the building. It was a horrible sight! People were jumping out the building. We just couldn't believe it. It had to be an accident. We couldn't have been more wrong. Just then, a second plane hut the second tower. America was under attack! Ijust started praying for God to protect us and to help people get out safely. Then news of the plane at the Pentagon came on followed shortly by the plane in Pennsylvania. I just started cryuing and praying even more. Things in this country have certainly changed since that dreadful day. We have come together as a nation. People who normally wouldn't speak to one another have become friends. American's now look out for their fellow man. We also take the liberties of living in this great nation more seriously. I pray that we continue to grow and that we never forget the sacrificies others made that September day in the year 2001.
