911DA Story: Story
On September 11, 2000, it was a normal day in school until I had to go to woods class, the teacher had the T.V turned on. All I saw was two big buildings and a airplane flying towards them. Right away I ask my teacher what those tall buildings were. He told me what had happened. I was in shock. I didnt know what to say. My whole school was talking about it. When I got home I turned on my T.V and found out a lot more than I had heard in school. When I started getting into it, the first thing that came to my mind was war. I didnt know that people had died and that they hijacked the planes. I can remember visiting my dad in North Carolina, and as we drove there on the highway, we always had the perfect view of the World Trade centers. The next day I found out that the flight number of the plane that crashed into the centers was the same plane that I took to California eight weeks before this tragedy occured.
After September 11, 2000, people had writing on their cars saying "we'll miss u," to express their patriotism.
Since September 11, things have changed a lot. People are very scared to fly planes. There is twice as much security now, than there was before September 11. The patriotism is very high now too. People have lost their lives, and a war has begun. My life has changed a little bit because I know people whose family members dies that day.
