Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On the morning of 9-11-2001, I woke up and went through my usual routine and came downstairs for breakfast. As I came down, my parents were watching the news and they were just in awe of what was happening. However, I was completely clueless, so they filled me in. Not believing them, I went to watch the news and couldn't believe my eyes. What I was witnessing was not real, it couldn't have been! I continued on with my day and went to school. When I arrived in my english class, all the students were questioning about the attacks so my teacher decided to discuss the event for the whole period. Unfortunately, none of my other classes paid much attention to the trauma and the day went on as if nothing had ever happened, as if history hadn't changed. However, deep down inside, I knew life would never be the same after this event. Around 2:30 PM, I arrived home to discover that parents were still watching the news. I asked them if there were any other updates about the tragedy, and they responded by saying that nothing new had happened but the fact that so many lives were changed and so many lives were lost. I don't think that I've ever witnessed history in my entire 15 years until the September 11 attacks. I'm extremely lucky that I didn't have to go through all the pain that that event had caused but I know that I will be changed by this historic event in our country's history.
