My sister-in-law called me and told me to turn the T.V on. I saw the towers on fire.I didn't believe it at first. When the second airplane hit the towers my first reactionwas to get my children. Then I cried all day because we are native New Yorkers. Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so , tell us how? My life has changed because I look at life and people differently. What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? All the lives and people that were lost. I loved how America came together. For the first time in our history there was no racism because everyone that was in New York city that day was all the same color. Did you fly an American Flag after the event of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? I was proud to be an American. I had flags on both cars.
