Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I first heard the news on the radio. I was lisening to 99.5 The Wolf. The first accounts were sketchy and I thought that the incident was that a helicopter had crash landed on the helipad at the White House. On listening further I realized that it was plane that crashed into the pentagon. That was frightening and I thought that was the end of it until I realized no, that was not all that both the towers of the World Trade center had too been damaged. I with my 4yr old son rushed home like many others and turned on the television to see the horrible shots of planes crashing into the twin towers. Yes that was hard to explain to my son but what was even harder was the WHY? question. WHY did they want to hurt people? Why did they want to tear down those buildings? Why didn't we stop them from doing it? The questions that a 4yr old is great at asking is the questions that even a year later Americans are still asking. WHY?
