My husband and I were vacationing at relatives in San Antonio, Texas. We were due to come hone on September 11th. We awoke in the morning and began packing for our flight. Not long after we were up we heard on the television of the hit on the World Trade Centers. The thought that we could have been in the air that day was scary. I had tried to book a flight to leave early that morning but was unable to get one. I feel that God was telling me that it wasn't our time to go. We spent five extra days in Texas and when we did get to leave it was the longest flight of our lives. Everyone that boarded the plane you wondered, are they safe to be on my flight? Is something else going to happen?

Now one year later it is such a great feeling to see that our country is still standing together and still remembering that terrible day. We are ONE NATION UNDER GOD and I hope that the United States always remembers September 11th, 2001.
