Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It started out as a beautiful day. That morning I dropped my children off at school and went to my sisters to have coffee with her. She was on her way dropping her children off to school. We met at her house and she said that the radio announced a plane hit the world trade center, I then called my husbands cell phone to locate him because he took the path train to work. The cell phones and telephones were not working. We were concerned because our younger brother worked there. Within minutes our sister-in-law called to ask if we heard from our brother. We said no. He worked on the 93rd floor of tower one, but was at a meeting on 98th.We knew he didn't get out. My husband on the other hand was in the Battery Tunnel. They approached the Manhattan side and saw a lot of smoke coming into the tunnel, he ran for his life back to Brooklyn. He said it looked like something from Independence Day (the movie). He made it home Thank God. I feel my brother was in there with him helping him get out safely. I pray to God that my brother did not suffer. He left behind a wife three children all of young age. His son will never know him he was nly a year old. His other two are little girls one is 7 yrs and the other is 5yrs. And agian I pray to God that he did not suffer. God Bless America.
