I was listening to my Guns N Roses CD going over the bridge from NJ to SI, NY so I had no clue what was happening. When I got to Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island, NY the streets were full of fire engines and police cars zooming towards the Verazzano Bridge. I figured there was a bad car accident up ahead. Little did I know probably a good number of those guys never returned home.
It wasnt until I got to my job in Staten Island that someone told me a plane hit the WTC. Even then I thought it was like a small Cesna or something. Little did I know what lied ahead.
