I had just woke up. Turned on the tv to see if the power was back on. When I seen the first tower was burning. I was trying to figure out what happened. Then the second plane hit the other tower. The first thing I did was call my manager at work and told her what had just happened. She is from New York. At first she did not believe me so i put the phone by the TV. Thats when the president came on and said we were under terriost attack. I had to go out but stayed in touch with my manager by cell phone and also took notes to fill in people at work when i got there.

I could not believe this was happening. I sat down and disguised the event with my kids. To let them know that they were safe. Also that to say a special prayer that nite for all that lost their lives because of it. Then we finished watching the news that nite.

That was a day I will never forget. To go to sleep in darkness to wake up to the world being tore apart.
