On the morning of September 11th. I was having an EDG procedure done to check on the healing of my esophagus. I remember waking up and my dad looking at me crying. I thought they had found something wrong with me. My mom asked me if I knew anyone in New York because a plane had crashed into a building. As I was coming out of the anesthesia, I had no clue as to the significance of what had taken place over in New York. My cousin was over there. He had to walk home from work with all the others walking home that day. I remember the rest of the day was spent watching TV with my mom and feeling like this had happened before as just a couple of years prior we were watching TV together during the bombing.
