I wrote this about 10 days after this terrible tragedy:
Towers of Hope
For that once stood is there no more,
For mothers, fathers, sons and daughters of war
We pray,
Our strength and courage has been questioned,
So many things going through our heads that can't even be mentioned,
Signs of hope lost forever,
Worst things we hope the terrorist will never endeaver,
Faith in God will pull us through,
Things we didn't even know we could do,
As the whole world watched in horror
As the planes of death crashed in terror,
We pray
