Who would commit this unspeakable act? I felt fear for the first time, prior to the attack I thought that as a citizen of the United States I would always be safe in my own country. I now realize that no one is every completely safe. As long as there are fanatics in uncivilized countries no one can afford to assume that they won't reach out and harm us.
