911DA Story: Story
I don't remember arriving at school that day. I was in sixth grade. The pricipal came over the intercome and announced that we were not to go out side for recess do to an excess of bees on the playground. A total lie. I noticed my teacher was visably upset and several students were sent home. I didn't learn about what happend until i was walking home with a neighbor of mine who was in the fourth grade. He told me "there was a little war at the Pentagon" his older sister told me that someone had bombed the twin towers and the Pentagon. My cousin was working at the Pentagon at the time and i felt myself begin to go into shock. I raced home to find my mother and sister sitting together in my mothers room in front of the TV. I asked about my counsin, my mother had already called her. She was late to work that day. Then all we, and many americans, could do, was sit in front of the TV in disbelief and fear.
