911DA Story: Story
I witnessed history on September 11th when my mom came to Marlboro Middle School and dissmissed me right away, after she had wittnessed it on the news. When I got home my mom begain to tell me what had happend. I could not believe it. As I turned on The news and watched the towers go down my heart broke. I couldnt understand why someone would do such a thing. As we continued to watch the news I saw the Pentagon and the plane in Pennsylvania. Later that night my parents answered any questions that I had. September 11th was a day of sorrow and tragedy, and that is how I wittnessed it.
My life has changed because of september 11th in so many ways. It gave me a hole new perspective on life. It really makes me think about other tragedies that have accurred in America that we take for granted. For example,we have days off from school to honor heros in our country or events that took place, we never really think about what that day really means. I never thought about it until I witnessed September 11th. All in all 9/11/01 was a tradegy and it changed many peoples lives. It brought everyone closer together. America, as a country became closer.
What we should remeber most about September 11th is the impact it had on America and how it brought everyone closer together as a nation. Most of all, I think we should never forget the heros that saved so many lives while risking their own. We should also remember the great patriotism that America showed when our country needed it the most!
