911DA Story: Story
I was at home that day watching tv when the news came on. At first i couldnt believe my eyes!! I was in utter shock. I didn't know anyone that died in the sept. 11th attacks but my heart pours out to all who did lose someone they loved. This is a day in history that noone will ever forget.
As i sat that day and every day after watching the news stories as everyone else did i felt a sense of peace and that of guilt. Maybe it was because i had not lost anyone but yet thousands others had.
There are still many stories i had heard that day and after that i still wonder about. Some that i never heard another thing about.
Today marks the 1year anniversary of the attacks and i feel more saddened today than i did then and i cannot explain it.
All i can say is i could not imagine losing my family and i feel for all those who have. I mourn for people i have never knew and for their families. May GOD bless us all in our time of need.
