Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was in my Hotel room on the first full day of my vaction with my husband, my two daughters age1 and 4 at the time. My mom and dad were also on vaction with us. I would say around 9:00 a.m my dad knocked on the door and told me to turn off cartoons and turn on channel 13. Just as i turned on the T.V. they were showing the first plane going through the trade center. I said "what is this a joke" and then the other plane went through the other tower. My dad said no joke. I could not belive what i was seeing. We then saw people falling out of the buildings and my four year old asked what they were and why did the planes hit the buildings. I could not think of a thing to day but the truth and I told her the best that I could through all my tears and sobbing.( I cry now as I type)For those who are not familar with Ocean city it is a big beach resort. All that day all the T.V.s everywhere were on the news. People all over the board walk were passing out flags to carry and all who had flags carried them all week. I wanted to leave my vaction; because who was I to have fun when so many were sufuring. It was a day I will never forget.
