911DA Story: Story

when i first heard of the news, i had just gotten out of the shower. my mom was watching the news and was telling me what had happened. i really didnt know what to say. i didnt have very strong feelings at that moment. i got ready for school and by the time i left, the planes had crashed into the world trade center and into the pentagon.
when i got to my first class, my teacher was listening to the radio. we didnt listen to the radio that long and we then started class as usual. i continued with my day as normal as i could. you couldnt get away from it, everyone was talking about it. one strong memory i have is when i was walking to my second period class, i looked into one of the classrooms that had a television on and i saw the buildings collapse. it was strange to think of the people that were still in the building.
when i got home from school, i turned on the television and i just sat watching the television for while. they just kept showing the planes crashing and them collapsing. i just turned the television off and trid not to think about it much and find a way to deal with it in my own way.
