Killing so many, implemented by so few.
Television News interrupts in a rage
The diatribe continues and sets a new stage.
Our history is soiled by this awesome attack.
Commentary! Commentary! How will we get back?
Even before we look into the facts
We are whipped to a boil by the media hacks.
Get the bloody damn terrorists, even the score.
Be damned with it all, lets have a grand war!
Scour the coffers, dig into them deep
Representatives and Senators did not whimper a peep.
When asked for a war budget, they gave a lot more.
The bandwagon was rolling, swelling like an infected sore.
Within our freedom a cancer has grown
From the tragedy of terrorists seeds were sown.
My fellow Americans, shame on us
If we jump on the warmongers bus.
