It was the first week of classes on a beautiful clear morning. I was walking on campus and ran into a friend of mine and broke the terrible news to me. I was shocked and in disbelief. We walked to her home joining her roommates and tuned into the news to watch and learn what had happened. After several hours I went home to meet my girlfriend at the time and her roommate and our close friends. The mood was somber and I can tell you that from day on, it brought us closer together and I will always remeber that day for that. Its a terrible tragedy, but at the same time, something beautiful came out of it between people and loved ones. God Bless.
