911DA Story: Story

I will never forget Sept. 11th 2001 as long as I live. Even to write this brings tears to my eyes. I can not image how those people that were in it and survied how they feel. There are no words to explain how Americans feel about this day. In a way we have had part of our freedom taken away. I worked for AT&T and now retired. I was on the phones when someone came in and said a plane had hit the towers and I just thought it was a mistake and kept working. Well not to long from the first person that came in another comes in and says another plane had hit the towers, well that was it I jumped up and went into the next room where there was a TV along with all other employees. We all stood in front of the TV all day and no one said a thing to us. We could not belive what we were hearing. I started crying as I thought the third plane was going to hit the White house and that was it for me. Well for the days I was glued to the TV. My heart goes out to those families that lost their loved ones, it will never be the same now.
