Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: When I was young, I heard my grandparents talk about remembering exactly where they were and exactly what they were doing when JFK was shot..my mother can tell me to this day who she was with and where she was when she found out Elvis had died. I believe everyone will always remember where they were, what they were doing, and who they were with on September 11th, 2001.. I had just started homeschool that week, and as usual, I was sleeping in. My grandfather came in that morning and asked me to come turn on the tv, that two planes had collided in New York...little did I know when I turned on the tv that morning that I would witness the biggest event of my life. I think we sat and stared in disbelief and horror for hours. I attempted to do my schoolwork, but was unable to. My uncle was due to come home that day, he had been out of town with his work..my niece, or technically cousin, had just turned 8 months old on the 3rd..we were unable to get ahold of him that day, and it was the only time he hadn't sent my aunt an itinerary, as well as the secretary at his office. When we finally spoke with him, we were all relieved. It was a scary day for all, and my prayers are still with those effected by that tragic day. God bless them all.
