How did you witness history on September 11, 2001?

September 11th, 2001, seemed like a normal day from the start. If someone had told me that there would be planes flying into the World Trade Center Towers and the Pentagon later that day I would have laughed at them and thought they were nutty.
That day, I woke up, took a shower, and did all my morning activities in preparation for school. I went to school, where my classmates and I worked through the day normally. Although the teachers knew of the tragedy that occurred, none had been instructed to tell the students. It wasn?t until three o?clock, when a boy in my class, who was sick, came to the school just after the last bell to get his books and homework. He started talking of these planes crashing into buildings and how thousands of people died. We all thought he was a little too sick and didn?t believe these far fetched stories. It wasn?t until I was picked up after school sports that I realized what Matt Unger had said was true. Planes did hit the Towers and the Pentagon, and September 11th , 2001 is a day that will forever be remembered.
