My husband always calls me at a certain time each day, just to tell me hello and that he loves me. On September 11th, 2001 he called earlier. Said he just put on the TV set and saw that a plane had hit one of the towers... thought it was just an accident. While we were talking the second plane hit the other tower. I did not have a TV on at work, but the sound of his voice will always haunt me...
The employees I work with then found our TV and hooked it up and just watched for hours and hours the horrow of 9/11. I will never forget that day. Even today, I cry when I see them call out the names of their love ones. I will always cry this day.. it is the sadest day of my life.
