911DA Story: Story
On the morning of September 11, I was at school just like any normal day we were in are classes, when all the sudden the prinicipal had called my name and asked for me to come to the office. When i got there myy school counslear wanted to speak with me, I went into his office and he told me that they were informed that my grandma had worked in the Pentagon's cafeteria. An then they told me about the planes hitting the World Trade Centers. While he was talking I was thinking "Wait my grandma doesn't work in the Pentagon's cafeteria!" and when I told him he was shocked, because what had happened was my mom called and asked if they new what happened, and she told them that if I Jessica Cornell were to have any problems my grandma worked in the cafeteria at our school. We'll they misunderstood and thought that it was the Pentagons cafeteria. So they sent me back to class, while i was walking back I started to cry because of what had gone on, when i got back everyone asked me why I was crying, before I could tell them the principal had got on the annoucments and told everyone what happened, as everyone started to cry the teachers turned on the T.V. and we watched the 2nd plane hit, at that moment we knew that this wasnt going to be an ordinary day. We wernt sent home early from school but when we got home people were lined up at the gas stations, and trying to get home to there families. I can only remember so much because I was in such shock. What happened that day is a day that I and no one will ever forget! An for any one who reads this and has a friend or family member that was in the attacks, I pray and feel so sorry for what happened to you that day. Because no one knew what was going on. And its sad that innicent people had to go through that! Thank you so much for letting me tell my story. And REST IN PEACE, for everyone that died that day.
