My five year old daughter, new puppy and I were moving back home from Arkansas, this was day six of a long road trip. We were just about to Portland, Oregon and I heard the news on the radio. I was terrified!! I thought of all those people and was just in shock. We pulled over and I just cried. Then I realized my parents were flying out of Portland, Oregon this a.m. and heading for Michigan. More panic! I tried to reach my sister to see if the plane left. They let me know that the plane turned around and landed and they were on their way to pick them up. Relieved that they were okay. I prayed for all the others that lost their loved ones. Today I still shed tears for all of the lives lost and for their families.
