Tell us your story: WHEN I SAW THE NEWS COME ON I THOUGHT IT HAD TO BE SOME KIND OF MISTAKE THAT I HAD TURNED THE CHANNEL TO A MOVIE OF SOME KIND OF. THEN REALITY BEGAN TO SET IN I WAS IN SHOCK OUR MIGHTY NATION WAS UNDER ATTACK !!! MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS OF THE PEOPLE THAT WERE KILLED AND THE ONES STUCK IN THOSE BUILDINGS NOT KNOWING IF THEY WOULD EVER SEE THIER LOVED ONES AGAIN THEN OF THE FAMILIES WATCHING THIS AND KNOWING THEY HAD SOMEONE THEY LOVED IN THERE.MY HEART BROKE FOR THEM .THEN I GOT VERY ANGRY.WE ARE AMERICANS BY GOD AND I KNEW WITH OUT A DOUBT THAT EVERYONE OF US WOULD PULL TOGETHER IN THIS AND GET THOSE S.O.B.'S THAT DID THIS. THE FEELING OF PRIDE WAS OVERWHELMING AND TO SEE ALL THE PEOPLE UNITE WAS A REAL EYE OPENER FOR ALL OF US I THINK.WE LEARNED TO TAKE PRIDE IN WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THE TRUE MEANING OF BEING AN AMERICAN IS, AS WE HAD ALL KIND OF TAKEN SO MUCH FOR GRANTED FOR SO LONG.BUT AS THE GREAT PEOPLE WE ARE WE OVERCAME AND GREW STRONGER TOGETHER AND YES WE GOT THOSE S.O.B.'S WE SENT EM' RUNNING FOR THE HILLS WE WERE ALL READY TO GO FIGHT THE YOUNG THE OLD THE HANDICAPPED WE ALL WANTED A PIECE OF THEM AND WANTED THEM TO KNOW WE ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH.SO PLEASE AS TIME GOES ON DON'T FORGET THOSE HEROES THAT DAY AND DON'T FORGET WHAT AMERICA STANDS FOR.....JUST NEVER FORGET Dublin Core The Dublin Core metadata element set is common to all Omeka records, including items, files, and collections.
