911DA Story: Story

"I HOLD IN MY HAND..."

I hold in my hand a candle so bright,
in silence I stand outside in the night.

I think and I pray for all who have gone.
The happy thoughts the people had before
the plane they went on.

Without a sound,
I think of people missing
and can't be found...

The flame on my candle has such a warm glow
I think of the people stuck down below.

Even though loved ones are apart,
I know in my heart-
God will take them in
a place so wonderful- called Heaven!

America will never be the same again
We need to be strong,
We have the bravest men.

We will always remember
the 11th day of September.

I am proud to be an American
each and every day,
God bless the U.S.A. !!

We all need to be knowing
We need to keep America growing.

America, America, home of the free!
No one will take it from us-
for this is our home, our land, our country.

I take my candle which I hold in my hand,
may God bless America-
where I am proud to be an American
on this land I stand!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you would like a copy of my memorial of 9/11-
written by my son and I in sympathy to all the families who were touched by this tragic event.
