I was sitting in class when the teacher's aide came and called one of my classmates into the hall. They spoke, and the girl came back in crying. My teacher turned on the TV just in time for us to see the second plane crash into the Twin Towers. I lived only 20 miles from the crash site in Shanksville, PA. They dismissed school for the rest of the day and I went home to my mother's. I spent the next week expecting a plane to drop out of the sky and come crashing down on my head.
