9-11 started like any other day, I got ready for school, went to school, and went to my 1st period class. during 1st period nobody knew anything about the terrorist attacks and I didn't find out until 2nd period when our normally very cheerful teacher walked in and had a sad expression on her face. she told us what happened and turned on the radio. I was so devastated and cried. I was worried about all the people and families but was lucky not to have to worry about anyone I knew. during 3rd period our teacher brought in a television and we were able to see what happened to the twin towers. at the end of the day my mom came and picked us up and it took home. we lived on Fort Benning so it took a while getting through the checkpoints. I am thankful that my September 11th was as uneventful as it was.
