My story isn't one about getting physically hurt. Infact I was far away from the attacks at the Trade Center and Pentagon, yet near the flight in Somerset County PA. I was sitting at a computer typing up the nights assignments in english class at the computer lab. About half way into the class an announcement came on. It was the sound of our scared principle Dr. Martin. She informed us on any information she could give us and at that time thought the Pentagon had been bombed, not crashed into. In every class jaws were dropped and eyes were staring at the horific pictures showing on our TV's. No one knew quite what was happening,everyone was scared,worried,and anxious to go home. Our eyes were glued on the t.v for a little while after. Nothing was kept from us. We knew right away it had been an act of terror and hate. We couldn't believe it. We always thought living in America would be this perfect wonderful free country, but when the events of 9/11 happened no one knew or believed in anything. A few weeks passed and my friends, everyone around us, and myself had started going on with our lives. It's no exactly one year later as I type this. It was a terrible misfortune that happened and will surely never be forgotten.
