911DA Story: Story
I am a naturalized citizen having come from Zacatecas, Mexico in 1980.I love my home country, but also proud to be an American.
After working for meager wages, I started my own business in 1983. Armed with drafting and architectural talents, I incorporated those abilities into ornamental fabrication and installation of wrought-iron products. I achieved a considerable measure of success but had to sell the business after a devastating injury and immobility for three years.I rebounded and started my current business. I've been successful enough to build my own building and that's where I was on September 11, beginning the day's work.
Horrified and distraught over the dastardly acts, I envisioned America in a riveting caress of God,and I produced a painting entitled, "In God's Hands." It is a stirring piece of art and a lasting memory for me. It may be viewed at www.creationsbycinco.com
