Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was watching the last of the morning news when all of a sudden they showed one of the towers in flames. They were saying that a small plane had somehow flown right into the tower. I could not imagine how in the world something like that could happen! As I sat there watching, a second plane came flying into the second tower and paople were running for thier lives and screaming in disbelief! I felt as if somone had jerked a rug out from under my feet. I just sat there frozen to the television. I watched as they kept playing the scene over and over. It made me feel sick to my stomach. All I could think about were the people trapped in those two burning buildings. The horror they must have felt when they realized they were about to die. I then thought of my own family, safe and secure. I felt very selfish because I could hug and kiss my husband and children..... too many could not. I cried for most of the day....... I prayed that God did not let those people suffer that were on the floors of the impact. Well, a year has passed and I still hug my family a little tighter each day and Thank God that I have each day with them. I wish I could just wrap my arms around each one that lost a friend or loved one that day and take away thier pain and grief. My heart goes out to each and everyone. All I can do is to remember all those that were lost in my prayers and I do that each and every day. I have seen a lot of death in my time, but the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that one day we WILL see them again. Oh.. what a reunion that will be! I also thought that God must have really needed an abundance of angels on 9/11/01 because he took so many. May God continue to Bless and keep each and everyone safe.
