After 26 1/2 hours of labor my son, Tracy, was born. He was born on September 10, 2001. Around 8am the following day a nurse walked into the room and told me that she was suprised that I wasn't watching t.v. I turned on the t.v. to see each of the twin towers falling to the ground. I was so shocked that I didn't know what to say. I will always remember that my son was born a day before something happened that made the world change.

Also, my oldest brother, Tim, and his girlfriend were going to Poland around that time. My mom knew that the two of them were flying on a plane similiar to the ones that flew into the twin towers, but she didn't know what route they were taking to get there. I believe it was September 12 that we found out that there plane was supposed to be going to Washington D.C., but they got re-routed so they were safe in Poland.
