On the morning of Sept 11, 2002, we were getting ready to head to Bismarck, ND and this was about 7:00 am CST, for my grandson's dental appointment. I had turned on the tv while getting ready, and had decided to sit down & watch the news before we headed out. I was waiting for my daughter to get ready & for her to get my grandson ready. I heard the news explaining about an airplane smashing into the world trade tower. The annoucer was extremely excited & it just didn't seem right of what was happening on tv. I woke my sister, Nancy up, as she was sleeping on the couch where the tv was located. I told her to get up and was unable to grasp what was going on. It was too much of a shock to see that persons had hijacked airplanes & were flying them into the World Trade Towers. Of course we missed my grandson's dental appointment & was not able to get back into the dentist's good graces.
